The notebook doesn't fail because it's poorly written. It fails because only one person reads it.
A shed notebook is almost always kept well. The problem is what happens afterwards: no one adds it up, no one compares it and no one sees it in time.

Whoever records the data is whoever is in the shed. You only approve and read. It is the only way for data to come in every single day.

Mortality, weight and feed, from the phone, with large buttons and no field that isn't needed. Each person sees only the sheds you assigned them.
- You approve what came in
What was captured offline waits in a list. Nothing enters the farm until you review it, and you can approve the batch while leaving out one record that doesn't add up.
- The whole farm, the same day
All active batches in one comparable table, with today's mortality and weight against previous batches at the same age.
WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
There is no signal in the shed. That is not our problem for you to solve.
The application was designed knowing that half of the records will be entered without a single signal bar. What is recorded stays on the phone and is sent when the connection comes back. There is nothing to remember.
Nothing is lost. The data lives on the phone until it is sent, even if the application is closed or the phone is turned off.
Nothing comes in without your approval. When the signal comes back, what was captured waits in a list for you to approve.
It reads in full sun. The contrasts were calculated for a dirty, backlit screen, not for an office.

When several people record data on the same batch, knowing who did what stops being a technical detail and becomes part of the data itself.
Permissions by farm and by person
If someone works on two of your farms, they can have different permissions on each one. The field operator doesn't see accounts receivable or prices, and not because the button is hidden: the system doesn't hand them the data.
Audit trail for every change
Who changed what, when and from where. If someone deletes a day's mortality, the data doesn't come back, but the record of who deleted it stays.
Every account, kept separate from the rest
Your farm's information doesn't share space with another producer's. No neighbor with a FarmsManager account can reach your numbers.
Backup and export
Your data can be taken out of the system whenever you want, in a file that opens in Excel.

And that is on purpose. We would rather have twenty farms well attended than two hundred half-served.

What people ask before deciding
How much does it cost?
We still don't have a public price. We are defining the model with the first farms, and we would rather discuss it with you than publish a figure we might not be able to sustain. It will be by subscription.
Do I need internet in the shed?
Not to record data. Yes for what was recorded to reach the farm, and that can happen hours later, when the phone gets signal again at home or in town.
What happens if my field operator makes a mistake?
It gets corrected. Nothing enters the farm without your approval, and you can approve the batch while leaving out the record that doesn't add up, so it gets recorded again.
Can my accountant get in?
Yes, with a role designed for that: they see what they need for their work and don't see the sheds' daily operation.
Can I have several farms under one account?
Yes. One account manages all your farms, and on each one you invite your own team with its own permissions.
Will my customers see my accounts receivable?
Your customer sees only what is theirs: their shipments and their balance with you. Never another customer's, and never the farm's operation.
Does it work for pigs, cattle or bees?
Today it is built for broiler poultry, and that is the only thing we will tell you it does. The system was designed to grow into other sectors, but we won't sell you what doesn't exist yet.
Can I print the reports?
Yes, and they were designed for it: complete figures, contrasts that survive black and white, and no information embedded inside an image.
